Why not?! As a person I love to have fun and make people smile, I love to challenge myself and do something different and most of all I love being creative. Every photoshoot will come out different especially with the creative packages and I have included the traditional festive photo as part of the packages so you can get the best of both worlds. Think of the smiles on your friends or families faces when they receive a fun, creative card, now it’s not just a card it will be a keepsake you can also put the image on a mug or calendar and make it a gift.
This is so versatile, tie up your kids, make it look like your kids tied you up, hell I am going to try out us all being tied up with the dog sitting there looking smug, wear yours pjs, drink wine, bring a kitten, yep one mum did and we were all over it! If you have some ideas I will definitely try them and when we put our heads together magical things happen. We don’t actually torture the kids, lights are fitted loosely around them and duct tape is optional and only the ends stick to their face. It is best to talk to your kid about this one and maybe play around at home and make it fun so they are not so intimidated when they get to the session.
Who doesn’t love a photo booth at an event?! It’s great fun for all ages with vibrant colours. The individual photos means there are many ways you can create your cards and you can use it for a profile pic during the festive season too. I like them especially when I am not looking my best I can add the props to cover half my face but I am still in the photo and it’s fun and quirky.
The smaller ones do tend to cry, not because we tie them up but they are in a new environment and they want to be with their mommy. Sometimes they warm up, sometimes they don’t but so far I have got the shot despite that. Older kids should know better? They are still kids, they are restless and wondering why they have to dress up nice and smile for a stranger when there are better things to do, like play. They will understand one day and have the photos to look back on and enjoy, a little bribery and encouragement doesn’t go amiss so I do have some candy and goody bags ready for when they are finished.
Don’t be phased by it I won’t think any less of you, I am a mom and I have been there and you can take comfort in knowing that around 50% of my photoshoots have kids that don’t want to co-operate and yet we have always got wonderful photos.
You have 20 mins and that actually is a fair bit of time especially if you have some ideas beforehand.
